Events on the Eastern Trail 2025

The Eastern Trail is proud to serve as a gathering place for events that promote well-being and encourage community. Every year, the Eastern Trail brings together thousands of people — Mainers and visitors alike — to enjoy nature and recreation close to home.

Eastern Trail Alliance Events:

Monday, October 6, 6 – 7:30 pm
October 2025 Full Moon Walk through the Scarborough Marsh

Join the Eastern Trail Alliance for a free and guided full moon walk along the Eastern Trail on the Scarborough Marsh. This event is free, however, registration is required in advance and limited to 25 people. Kindly note that pets are not allowed at this event.

Saturday, October 18, 10:00 am
Bike & Brew on the Eastern Trail with Banded Brewing
Banded Brewing Company, 32 Main Street, Biddeford, ME. Go here for more information and to register.
Join the Eastern Trail Alliance for a 15–20 mile socially-paced ride through fall foliage, starting and ending at Banded Brewing in Biddeford. Afterward, gather for beers, cheers, and good conversation at the brewery. This event is free and advance registration is appreciated. Donations to the Eastern Trail are greatly appreciated and can be made during registration.

• Every Saturday – Eastern Trail parkrun. A free, fun, and friendly weekly 5k community event. Walk, jog, run, volunteer or spectate – it’s up to you! Takes place every Saturday at 9:00 am at Biddeford Eastern Trail (accessible from the Southern Maine Health Care Hospital car park), Medical Center Drive, Biddeford. Go here for more details. Costs nothing – it’s free! but please register before you first come along.
