Saco

Image of snow piles blocking the Eastern Trail in SacoReported: February 25, 2025 | The normal access points to the ET at Thornton Academy are presently blocked with gigantic piles of snow from their student parking lot. These piles may take some time to melt but meanwhile there is access to the trail at the Stop sign in the parking lot as indicated on the graphic shown to the right.
Reported: October 21, 2024 | The trailside water fountain in Saco has been turned off and winterized for the season, thanks to Jim Godbout of Jim Godbout Plumbing & Heating, Inc. who provides this service in-kind. Please keep this in mind ahead of your next visit and bring your own water, as needed. We will alert you in the spring when the water is back on.
