The mission of the Eastern Trail Alliance is to build, maintain, and promote the use of the Eastern Trail, a recreation and transportation greenway from Casco Bay to the Piscataqua River in Kittery, Maine. We do this by inspiring individuals and private and public organizations to partner with us to support this incomparable resource.
We are friends of the Eastern Trail, working together in a variety of ways to develop the fantastic resource between Portsmouth, New Hampshire and South Portland, Maine. We are citizens of Southern Maine, frequent visitors, hikers, bikers, horseback riders and outdoor enthusiasts. We are family members, commuters, municipal employees, and just plain interested folk.
