The Eastern Trail is proud to serve as a gathering place for events that promote well-being and encourage community. Every year, the Eastern Trail brings together thousands of people — Mainers and visitors alike — to enjoy nature and recreation close to home.

Chats with Chelsey – a walk on the Eastern Trail
ET Trailhead @ Kennebunk Elementary School Trailhead, Kennebunk, ME
Grab your sneakers and join Eastern Trail Alliance’s Executive Director Chelsey Berlin for a laid-back community walk. This free meet-up is all about fresh air, good conversation, and enjoying the trail together. Click here to learn more and register.

Bike & Brew on the Eastern Trail with Holy Donut
398 U.S. Rte. 1, Scarborough, ME
Please join us for a different kind of Bike and Brew! A social 15-20 mile ride primarily along the Eastern Trail, starting and finishing at Holy Donut in Scarborough. After the ride, all are welcome to meet at Holy Donut for donuts, coffee, cheers, and good conversation.
Riders are encouraged to assemble in the parking lot at Holy Donut at 7:30am. The ride will start at 8:00 am.
This is a free event however, donations to the Eastern Trail are most appreciated and can be submitted during the checkout process. Go here to register!

Maine Lighthouse Ride
Southern Maine Community College, South Portland, ME
Join us for the 22nd Annual Maine Lighthouse Ride (MLR). True to its name, MLR highlights the breathtaking views of coastal southern Maine, including multiple lighthouses, rolling terrain, and stunning views of the Atlantic Ocean and the iconic Scarborough Marsh. MLR offers four ride lengths to challenge riders of all abilities – 25 miles, 40 miles, 62 miles, and 100 miles! Click here to learn more and register.

• Every Saturday – Eastern Trail parkrun. A free, fun, and friendly weekly 5k community event. Walk, jog, run, volunteer or spectate – it’s up to you! Takes place every Saturday at 9:00 am at Biddeford Eastern Trail (accessible from the Southern Maine Health Care Hospital car park), Medical Center Drive, Biddeford. Go here for more details.
