The Eastern Trail exists today only due to energy and contributions of our many volunteers. Please join us to make our trail even better!

There are many exciting opportunities throughout the year to get involved and support the Eastern Trail Alliance. From trail projects to community events, volunteers play an important role in helping us grow, maintain, and promote safe enjoyment of the trail.

One of our biggest volunteer opportunities is the annual Maine Lighthouse Ride on Saturday, September 19, 2026. We’re looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help create a fun, welcoming, and safe experience for riders from across the region. To learn more and join the fun, email us at MLR@easterntrail.org.
