Eastern Trail Parking Areas

On this page we will list trail access resources, in particular places to park when accessing sections of the Eastern Trail for walking, cycling, skiing, bird watching, or other uses.

Please show courtesy to our trail neighbors. Do not park on private property or impede traffic flow. Thanks!

South Portland:

• Black Point Road (on Eastern Rd spur south of Black Point Road) | Map

Old Orchard Beach:

• Milliken Mills Road (on the shoulder) | Map

Saco:

• Mill Brook Business Park (off Route 1) | Map
• Thornton Academy Area (Thornton Academy is completely closed until further notice – There is no parking on TA grounds until school has resumed. While nearby on-street parking is limited, you may park on the shoulder of Clark Street and access the trail from there.) | Map

Biddeford:

Parking spots near the Eastern Trail in Arundel added in 2014

Arundel:

• Town Hall (at Limerick Road and Mountain Road intersection) | Map
• The town of Arundel has created parking spaces along the Limerick Road portion of the Eastern Trail.  More information here

Kennebunk

• Town Hall (at Limerick Road and Kennebunk Elementary School (rear of lot near kiosk and spur trail)
