Please email us to learn about options. \n\n\n\nSponsorship  Information\n\n\n\n\n\nAbout the Maine Lighthouse Ride\n\n\n\n\n\nThe Maine Lighthouse Ride is more than a bike ride—it’s a celebration of Maine’s spectacular coastline\, vibrant cycling community\, and the simple joy of spending a day on two wheels. \n\n\n\nEach year\, nearly 1\,000 cyclists gather at the beautiful waterfront campus of Southern Maine Community College in South Portland to experience one of Maine’s premier cycling events. From the moment you roll out overlooking Casco Bay to your final miles along the coast\, you’ll be treated to breathtaking ocean views\, iconic lighthouses\, charming seaside communities\, the beauty of the Scarborough Marsh\, and some of the most scenic roads in New England. \n\n\n\nChoose from 25-\, 40-\, 62-\, or 100-mile routes\, each designed to showcase the best of southern Maine while providing a safe\, supported\, and memorable experience for riders of all abilities. Along the way\, you’ll enjoy five well-stocked rest stops filled with rider favorites\, friendly volunteers\, and plenty of encouragement to keep you moving. \n\n\n\nNeed a bike? Our friends at Gorham Bike & Ski offer rental bikes for the event and will be onsite throughout the day with expert support\, gear\, and cycling essentials. Join fellow cyclists back at Southern Maine Community College for a lively post-ride gathering featuring delicious food\, live music\, and refreshing Maine craft beer. DESCRIPTION:Join the Eastern Trail and the Allagash Bungalow for a Bike & Brew Event on the Eastern Trail! \n\n\n\nThe Eastern Trail Alliance is excited to host the first Bike & Brew ride of 2026 \n\n\n\nJoin us on Saturday\, May 23rd for a 15–20 mile socially-paced ride starting and ending at the Allagash Bungalow. Afterward\, gather for beers\, cheers\, and good conversation at the brewery. This event is free and advance registration is appreciated. Donations to the Eastern Trail are greatly appreciated and can be made during registration.Ride Details10:00 AM – Meet at the Allagash Bungalow10:30 AM – Ride Start12:30–1:30 PM – Post-ride gathering at the Allagash BungalowWhat to Expect \n\n\n\nWe will ride for about two hours and return to Allagash Bungalow for refreshments.Bathrooms will be available at Allagash pre-ride.There is plenty of free parking at Allagash. \n\n\n\nBring a spare inner tube (correct size/valve for your bicycle tire). We can assist with changing flats\, if you have a tube. \n\n\n\nIn the event of inclement weather\, the ride may be canceled or rescheduled. A final decision will be shared with registered participants the morning of the event.
