Eastern Trail Extension Being Built in South Portland

September 19, 2002 - Jim Gailey, ETMD member and South Portland City Site Planner, sent the following pictures for the new section of trail that connects the existing terminous of the Greenbelt Walkway (at Breakwater Drive) to Bug Light Park. As you can see in the pictures, things are going fast and the contractor believes the trail will be open by the end of September. This is at the northern end of the proposed Eastern Trail
