Directions to the start of the ride at Southern Maine Community College:

Take Maine Turnpike (I-95) to I-295 through Portland. Take Exit 6A (Forest Ave., South/Rt. 77). Follow Rt. 77 across Casco Bay Bridge to South Portland. At the end of bridge, continue straight onto Broadway (east) 1.5 miles. Parking on right.

If a luxurious Oceanside Bed and Breakfast is your style, may we suggest the beautiful Peter A. McKernan Hospitality Center, a 10 minute walk from the MLR registration desk on the campus of Southern Maine Community College.

Geared to couples (5 rooms of the 8 rooms have Queen Beds), thesebeautiful rooms have delightful ocean and lighthouse views. This romantic bed and breakfast is available for $130 a night per room and includes a continental breakfast. (Please verify prices when registering.)

Q. What is the route? Are they all loops?

A. All rides begin and end at the beautiful oceanfront campus of Southern Maine Community College in South Portland. Maps and cue sheets for all rides will be available. An optional all-paved route for the 100-mile century ride will be provided (the regular century ride has a very short firm but unpaved section over the beautiful Scarborough marsh). Both routes are provided so you can take your pick! ........Return to top of page
