Saturday, April 26, 2008 - Eastern Trail 50 Mile Shore Ride
We will ride the Eastern Trail from Saco to Wells. Return by scenic ocean route. Ride with group (~14 mph) or go at your own pace. Map provided. More information on the Outings page.

Sunday, May 18, 2008 ElectroVelo Maine Ultra Efficient Vehicle Rally
Beech Ridge Motor Speedway, Scarborough, ME. There is a $5.00 fee for participants in the Human Powered Vehicle portion of the Rally which will be used to cover insurance for the event. Helmets for participants are required. More information on the Outings page.
May 26, Memorial Day - Snowy Egret Run/Walk with Maine Audubon & Chiropractic Family Wellness Center. 5K race starts at 9:00 AM. The kids 1K starts at 8:30 AM. Race is a benefit for the ETA and the Scarborough Marsh Audubon Center. More information on the Outings page.

Monday July 14th - Explore the Off-Road ET in the Scarborough-OOB area
We'll visit the older and newest sections of the Eastern Trail and look at some needed future sections. More information on the Outings page.
Thursday August 28th -North Haven Loop Ride
Leader will provide detailed information to those who pre-register. limited to 25 riders. Picnic, ice cream, ferry ride, etc. More information on the Outings page.
Saturday, September 13, 2008 - Maine Lighthouse Ride
Experience the beautiful coast of Maine and see nine (yes, nine) lighthouses! Choose one of several ride options from 10 to 100 miles. All rides begin and end at the campus of Southern Maine Community College in South Portland. Hot showers and barbeque after the ride! The Maine Lighthouse Ride benefits the Eastern Trail Alliance. *Directions to the ETA office in the Saco Parks and Rec
Community Center (for ETA meetings). Take Maine Turnpike Saco exit. Turn RIGHT immediately after
the toll plaza. At the end of the ramp, turn LEFT at the light onto
Industrial Park Road. At the next light turn LEFT onto Rt. 112 toward
downtown Saco. In ¼ mile turn RIGHT onto Franklin St. (just beyond the
playground.) In ¼ mile the Community Center is on your LEFT. It’s the 2nd
building, NOT the Army Reserve facility. Entrance on the right side - the
meetings are held on the second floor, while the
ETA office is on the first floor.
